On this infamous day in our recent history
an act of pure evil shook the world.
No-one will ever forget the images of that day.
A day so terrible that even the Angels wept.
 

How could this happen to our American cousins?
We watched in horror as the planes hit.
We cried and mourned with you.
And we heard the wings of the Angels.

And we saw the spirit of the people
who struggled to help and stayed
for days and hours searching..
We witnessed a resolve.
Of
Strength in the face of fear.
Courage in the midst of chaos.
And the heart of nation
coming together as one.
 

It has taken me many months to be able
to share my feelings with you on this tragedy,
but I am finally able to now express myself
in this humble page.
Please know dear friends, that the Canadian people
are with you and we share your grief.
